PM Modi meets UP CM Yogi, his cabinet in Lucknow, holds discussions on good governance, ease of living

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the entire UP cabinet in Lucknow after he arrived there from Nepal.
During his meeting with UP cabinet ministers, PM Modi talked about the mantra of good governance, ease of living, and spirit of public service.
“Had an extensive interaction with the Council of Ministers of the Uttar Pradesh government. We discussed a wide range of subjects relating to furthering good governance and ‘Ease of Living’ for the citizens,” PM Modi tweeted.
Addressing the council of ministers at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence at a dinner meeting, Modi underlined the increased responsibility of the government following its second consecutive win in the recent Assembly elections.
According to sources, a number of Cabinet ministers gave brief presentations of the policies of their respective departments while the Prime Minister gave his inputs on improving efficiency.
The Prime Minister’s visit to UP is being considered very crucial ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier during the day, Modi had offered prayers at the Mahaparinirvana Stupa in Kushinagar on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
