Suniel Shetty calls son-in-law KL Rahul his ‘blessing’, Athiya Shetty shares photos from cricketer’s midnight birthday celebration
Calling KL Rahul their “blessing” Suniel Shetty and his daughter Athiya Shetty posted warm birthday messages for the cricketer.
Actor Suniel Shetty sent out the warmest birthday wishes for his son-in-law, cricketer KL Rahul. Suniel, in his Instagram post, shared an unseen picture from his daughter, Athiya Shetty’s wedding with KL Rahul, and wrote, “Blessed to have you in our lives …Happy birthday baba 🖤.”
In the picture, Suniel is seen putting a tilak on KL Rahul’s forehead and welcoming him into the family. Both are seen wearing ceremonial outfits as the picture is from the day of the wedding. Athiya and KL Rahul tied the knot on January 23 this year.
KL Rahul, who is the captain of Lucknow Super Giants and is in middle of the current Indian Premier League (IPL) season, responded to Suniel’s post with, “❤️🧿.” Athiya too pasted a red heart emoji in the comments section of Suniel’s Instagram post.
Athiya wrote a loved-up post to wish her husband as she shared a couple of cosy pictures with him and wrote, “Happiest birthday to my biggest blessing 🤎.”
KL Rahul’s fans also wished the cricketer. One of them wrote, “Happy Birthday @klrahul master class 🎂🥰.” Suniel’s colleagues from the entertainment industry also shared birthday wishes by commenting on the actor’s post. The Family Man actor Darshan Kumar wrote, “Happy Birthday @klrahul 🎂🥳❤️,” while actor Rahul Dev left a couple of heart icons in the comments section.
Athiya’s post dedicated to KL Rahul received much love. Actor Aditi Rao Hydari commented, “Omg happy birthday!!!! ❤️,” VJ Anusha wrote, “❤️ you two ❤️ and happy birthday @klrahul 🤗,” Suneil’s good friend and actor Jackie Shroff’s daughter Krishna wrote, “🥺♥️.”
Athiya had also shared some inside pictures of KL Rahul’s birthday eve. The two twinned in casuals as they brought in the cricketer’s birthday together.
Suniel’s son Ahaan also wished the cricketer. Taking to Instagram story, he shared a picture with KL Rahul, and wrote, “Happy birthday brother.”
On the work front, Athiya was last seen walking the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. Suniel, on the other hand, is busier than ever, he was last seen in Dharavi Bank, and he has been promoting Hunter. He’ll soon start shooting for Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
