Actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will appear as guests on the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, to promote their new film Satyaprem Ki Katha. A promotional video of the episode was shared online on Tuesday evening. It showed host Kapil Sharma making a joke about Kartik’s ‘pure’ heart, and cast member Krushna Abhishek also poking fun at his lavish spending.
Kartik and Kiara kickstarted the film’s promotions ahead of its release next week. The new clip starts with Kartik and Kiara dancing to the song ‘Haan Main Galat” from the film Love Aaj Kal, which also starred Kartik.
Talking about the film Satyaprem Ki Katha’s heart-shaped logo, Kapil asked Kartik, “Dil hota hai laal colour ka, ye white kaise hai (Hearts are usually red, how come this one is white)?” In reply, Kartik said, “Kyunki ye saaf hai, pure hai (Because this is pure).” Kapil jokingly said, “Toh ye toh ho gaya Kiara ka, aapka wala kon sa hai (Then this is Kiara’s, what about yours)?” The actors busted into laughter after this.
Senior actor Gajraj Rao, who is also a part of the film Satyaprem Ki Katha, joined the actors on Kapil’s show. Kapil asked the actor, “Kartik-Kiara ye gaane chal rhe hai, aap dekhte honge, aise dimag me aata toh hoga ki mai b 30 saal pehle aa jata. Aisa aata hai dimag me (When Kartik-Kiara’s romantic songs are being played in the film, do you think to yourself, I wish I came 30 years back)?” The actor replied, “Aata toh hai matlab (Yes, I do get these thoughts).”
In a fun segment, Krushna was seen mimicking Dharmendra while Kiku Sharda was seen playing Sunny Deol. During the interaction, Kiku asked Karitk if he’s single. Replying to this, Krushna said, “Koi bhi banda jab Rs 4 crore ki gadi kharidta hai, who kya Gajraj Rao ji ko ghumane k liye gharidega (If a man buys a car worth Rs 4 crore, he isn’t doing it to take Gajraj Rao on a drive).” Krushna didn’t specify which car he was talking about in the promo, but Kartik’s most expensive vehicle is a McLaren that was gifted to him by T-Series chief Bhushan Kumar.
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are collaborating together for the second time in Satyaprem Ki Katha, after starring in the blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year.
