IPL 2021 Schedule: Full Match Today Fixtures, Venues, Timings And Date

BCCI had announced the schedule for the remainder of the IPL 2021 which will be held in the UAE. A total of 31 matches will be played in the duration of 27 days. The 14th season, which was postponed in May this year in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, will resume on September 19 in Dubai with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

IPL 2021 began with a bang on April 10 this year as the two heavyweights of the tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians took on each other in the maiden game of the tournament. However, after 29 enthralling games of cricket, the tournament had to be halted due to the Covid-19 outbreak in multiple franchises.

The action will then shift to Abu Dhabi where the Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sharjah will host its first game on September 24 when Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings. In all, 13 matches will be held in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi.

This is the second successive year the UAE will be hosting the IPL. In 2020, the entire tournament was played across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Here’s the complete Indian Premier League 2021 second-half match schedule, venue, date and timings.

Dubai International Stadium will stage 13 matches including the first qualifier and the final, Sharjah will host 10 matches including the Eliminator and the second qualifier and the remaining 8 matches will be held in Abu Dhabi.
