Delhi: Woman shot dead on road in Paschim Vihar; police probe on
Delhi: According to police, the woman, identified as Jyoti, was shot dead by miscreants on a busy road in Paschim Vihar at around 7:30 pm.
Delhi: A woman was shot dead in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area by unknown assailants on Monday night. The incident took place on a road while the victim was riding a scooty. After killing her the assailants fled the scene with her scooty.
According to police, the woman, identified as Jyoti, was shot dead by miscreants on a busy road in Paschim Vihar at around 7:30 pm. Jyoti was returning home from her office when the unknown assailants shot her and fled with her vehicle from the scene.
The passersby took immediate action and took her to a nearby hospital. The doctors declared her brought dead.
Mother of three children
The victim ‘s husband worked in plastic-scrap and the couple have three children. Jyoti was working in a private company near Udyog Nagar metro station for the last one month.
The victim’s relatives said that they were unaware of any form of enimity or dispute with anybody. Her father demands justice and arrest of the killers of his daughter as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, three teams of Delhi Crime Branch are probing the murder and they are scrutinising CCTV footage of the area along with other evidences.
Class 12th student stabbed in gang fight
In another incident, a Class 12th student died while undergoing treatment after he was was stabbed and injured in Delhi’s Kalkaji area. According to the police, a fight broke out between two groups of students at Hansraj Sethi Park in which the student was badly injured with a knife.
The deceased student had been identified as Mohan, a resident of the JJR Camp, Okhla Phase II.
