Gold Price Today 20 October 2022: Gold and silver futures are retailing on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. Check the latest city-wise rates here.

For the second time in a row, gold and silver prices recorded a dip on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The precious metals are retailing on the lower side of the domestic market on Thursday.

With a dip on October 20, gold futures maturing on December 5, 2022, stood at Rs 50,100 per 10 grams on the domestic market. Gold recorded a dip of Rs 99 or 0.20 per cent on October 17.

Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, were trading at Rs 55,614 with a downfall of Rs 287 or 0.51 per cent.

On Monday, when the market closed, gold futures were retailing at Rs 50,199 per 10 grams on the MCX. Meanwhile, silver was at Rs 56,014 per kg.

The gold and silver prices in India depend on several factors, such as the value of the rupee against the dollar, and global demand plays a key role in determining the trends observed in the rate of precious metals.
