Two terrorists are reportedly trapped in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The security forces have urged the terrorists to surrender.

Two terrorists are reportedly trapped inside a mosque in Naina Batpora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district after an encounter broke out between the militants and the security forces. One of the terrorists has been identified as Shahih Hussain.

The security forces have made an appeal to the trapped terrorists through the locals and have asked them to surrender. But so far the terrorists have refused to come out.

Earlier this week, a civilian was killed and 24 others, including a policeman, were injured after terrorists hurled a grenade at security forces in Hari Singh High Street market in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

Senior police officers reached the spot and the area was cordoned off, the official said. Following the investigation, police registered a case and began an investigation. Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Kashmir Vijay Kumar said they were working towards identification and arrest of those involved in the grenade attack.
