
School bus rams into tree in Noida, 4 students and driver injured
A school bus from Ghaziabad rammed into a tree at Char Murti crossing in Thana Bisrakh area, Noida, on Thursday morning, injuring four students and the driver, police said.
The students who sustained injuries were transported to a hospital for medical care.
At Char Murti crossing in Thana Bisrakh area, a Bloom Public School bus from Ghaziabad’s Pratap Vihar veered off course and struck a tree, according to a police spokesperson.
The spokesperson confirmed that seventeen pupils were travelling in the bus at the time of the incident.
Upon receiving news of the accident, worried parents rushed to the scene and raised concerns about negligent behaviour from both the school management and the bus driver.
The police reported that those injured included Anya (13), Kushank (12), Shaurya (16), Sansthita (6) and the driver, Bhagwan Singh (48).
Following the transfer of injured students to hospital, arrangements were made for an alternative vehicle to transport the remaining pupils to school.
A crane was deployed to move the damaged vehicle to a repair facility.
