Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta criticizes ‘vaccine nationalism’
President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that he wants Kenya to move towards vaccine production because it has suffered as a result of vaccine nationalism, a claim that rich countries are buying up vaccine supplies.
Less than 2% of Africa’s population has been fully vaccinated.
Mr. Kenyatta has been attending a three-day global education summit which he co-hosted with the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in London.
