Kia Seltos registers 2 lakh sales since launch
Kia Seltos contributes over 66 per cent of the company’s total sales in the country, of which 58 per cent of sales come from its top variants, while the automatic options contribute to more than 35 per cent.
Kia India celebrates two years of its India operations with three back-to-back milestones in a row. Soon after achieving the tag of the fastest carmaker to record 3 lakh sales in India, Kia registered the 2 lakh sales mark of its flagship Seltos SUV. The company also affirms a leading position in the connected car revolution with 1.5 lakh connected cars sold. Kia Seltos contributes over 66 per cent of the company’s total sales in the country, of which 58 per cent of sales come from its top variants, while the automatic options contribute to more than 35 per cent. The Kia Seltos diesel unit commands 45 per cent of the total sales. The newly launched Seltos iMT has seen a lot of traction in less than four months after its launch.

Additionally, the company also revealed that more than 1.5 lakh units of Kia cars with its connected car technology are currently plying on Indian roads. Here too, the Kia Seltos accounts for 78 per cent while the Kia Sonet accounts for over 19 per cent of the total connected Kia sales. Kia revealed that customers prefer to drive home the Seltos HTX 1.5 Petrol variant with the connected car feature.
