Komaki Electric Vehicles slashed the prices of its electric scooter, Komaki XGT-X1, at Rs 45,000 for the lead-acid battery, and Rs 60,000 for the lithium-ion battery variant, making it the most economical electric scooter on sale in India. Komaki revealed the XGT-X1 electric scooter in June this year, and since then, has sold around 25,000 units. Besides this, the brand has twelve license exempted models and three high-speed registration models.
Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division said, “Years and years of research and development went into the creation of this model, and we’re delighted to finally launch it in the market. As always, we’ve focused on affordability while packing the vehicle with amazing features that are exclusive to Komaki Electric Vehicles.”
The Komaki XGT-X1 electric scooter offers a range of 100km to 120km per charge in Eco mode. It is equipped with telescopic shockers, an anti-theft lock system, a remote lock and many more features. It is geared with a synchronized braking system and sized-up BIS wheels. The Komaki XGT-X1 is offered with a warranty of 2+1 (1 year service warranty) years for its lithium-ion batteries and 1 year for the lead-acid battery pack.
