To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Himachal Pradesh’s statehood, the state government is observing the ”Swarnim Himachal Mahotsav” organised ”Run for Himachal” marathon in Delhi on December 5 sponsored by Supreme Hospital, Faridabad.
The ‘Run for Himachal’ was flagged off by Rajya Sabha member and BJP president J P Nadda from Rajghat to Himachal Bhawan.
CEO/Vice Chairman Supreme Hospital, Yuvraj Digvijay Singh Rana participated and was in the top 25 to finish the marathon. In an exclusive talk with him, he said “Physical fitness acts as a key ingredient to all aspects of personal development for a rich and radiant living. It is exercise alone that supports the spirits and keeps the mind in vigour. Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur, and State Minister of Forest, Youth Services and Sports Rakesh Pathania were also present there on the occasion.
