Shah Rukh Khan leaves fans worried with his response to query about smoking habit: ‘This hurts so much’
Shah Rukh Khan interacted with his fans on Twitter on Monday, and answered questions about his smoking habit and married life with Gauri Khan,
Shah Rukh Khan leaves his fans in awe with every ‘Ask SRK’ session on social media. The actor conducted one on Monday, and dished out trademark witty replies to his fans’ questions. However, his response to a fan who asked if he has quit smoking left his admirers worried. A fan asked Shah Rukh, “Have you quit smoking?! #AskSRK.” To this, the actor replied, “Yes, he lied, surrounded by a thick plume of smoke from his cancer stick!!!” This made the actor’s fans worry about his health. Shah Rukh Khan is a chain smoker.
Responding to SRK’s reply, a fan wrote, “Don’t say that 🙁 may god bless and protect you 🙏🏻.” Another added, “Hey don’t say that please 🥺this makes me so scary to say it again please we are pray for you always to be good and health to please this hurt to much when I heard this don’t say it again.” A fan also wrote, “You made me cry after reading this! Nothing will happen to you ever..🥺 #AskSrk Stay forever because the world needs Love and you are the one who is spreading it immensely!!”

Shah Rukh, in a 2017 interview, had spoken about his plans of quitting cigarettes and alcohol as he wants to spend more time with his youngest son AbRam. Speaking at the India Today conclave, the actor had said, “The presence of a little child at the age of 50, it is a good thing. It makes me come alive, it makes me see innocence and love in a different way. Having said that, will I be there to do the same thing that I did with my older kids? Yes, that is a worry. So that keeps you smoking less, drinking less, exercising more. I am planning to give up all (smoking, drinking, etc) and try to be healthier and happier.”
However, Shah Rukh also made his fans laugh during the AMA session. He even replied to a fan who asked him if his wife Gauri Khan makes him do household chores since he always conducts ‘Ask SRK’ sessions only for 15 minutes. “Yeh hamesha aapke paas bas 15 min hi kyu hote hain, bhabhiji ghar ka kaam aap se hi karwati hain kya (Why do you always have only 15 minutes, does your wife make you do housework)?” a fan asked.

Shah Rukh replied, “Beta apni kahaan(i) humein na suna… jaa ghar ki safaai kar (Son, don’t tell me your own story, go clean your house)”. He also responded to a fan who asked if he is handsome. The Pathaan actor said he knows he is.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in this year’s biggest blockbuster hit, Pathaan. Now, he is looking forward to his next, Jawan. Directed by Atlee, the film will be released in the theatres on September 7. The actor will also make a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, following which he will play in the lead role in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
