UP: 6 dead, several injured as electric bus mows down bystanders in Kanpur; PM Modi, UP CM express condolence
Commenting on the accident, the DCP said, "Injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital and the probe in the matter has been initiated."
At least six people were killed, while several others were injured after an electric bus lost control and mowed down several bystanders in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. According to the local police, the incident was reported from near the Tat Mill crossroad in Kanpur on Sunday.
Commenting on the accident, the DCP said, “Injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital and the probe in the matter has been initiated.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the accident today and expressed solidarity with the families of those killed.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath too expressed grief over the incident.
कानपुर में हुई सड़क दुर्घटना में लोगों की मृत्यु अत्यंत दुःखद है।
परमपिता दिवंगत आत्माओं को अपने श्री चरणों में स्थान तथा शोक संतप्त परिजनों को यह अथाह दुःख सहने की शक्ति दें।
घायलों को हर संभव चिकित्सा सहायता उपलब्ध कराने हेतु प्रशासन को निर्देश दे दिए गए हैं।
